Wooden Blocking Board - Small

A blocking board is an almost indispensable tool if you are crocheting a blanket made of granny squares, stars, og the like, and want to achieve nice and uniform results. The board ensures that all your shapes are the same size and shape, making the subsequent assembly a breeze.

The board is made of beech wood, has a nice, natural wood color, and a nice finish. 144 holes have been drilled into the board, allowing you to block an infinite number of different shapes with the included 8 metal pins. The metal pins measure no less than 12 cm, allowing you to block several squares at the same time on top of each other.

Before you start blocking, you need to moisten/dampen your shapes. For the sake of the wood, the items that are to be blocked mustn't be too wet. Once they are blocked into the desired shape/size, let them dry completely before sewing or crocheting them together for a beautiful finished project. Avoid placing your blocking board on or near a direct heat source since this might damage the wood.

The blocking board and pins come in a cotton canvas bag with a drawstring closure. This helps you keep track of everything while also protecting your wooden board.
